Kommunikation, Note: 1,0, Hochschule Darmstadt (Fachbereich Media), Veranstaltung: -, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Als einen der langweiligsten Wahlkämpfe in Deutschland bezeichneten viele Medien und Experten den Wahlkampf zur Bundestagswahl 2009. Die „Bild“ titelte nach dem TV-Duell zwischen CDU-Bundeskanzlerin Angela Merkel und SPD-Herausforderer Frank-Walter Steinmeier, in Anlehnung an den erfolgreichen Slogan von Barack Obama, „Yes, we gähn“. Differenzierte Analysen in den Medien sind zwar vorhanden, bilden jedoch eher die Ausnahme. Aber der Wahlkampf war in der Tat wenig kämpferisch und polarisierend, sondern mehr zurückhaltend und distanziert. Es fehlten Themen, Emotionen, Charisma und Begeisterung. Doch müssen an dieser Stelle die schwierigen Rahmenbedingungen und letztlich auch die Ergebnisse dieser Wahl in der Bewertung und Analyse berücksichtigt werden. Denn so langweilig der Wahlkampf auch gewesen sein soll, brachte die Bundestagswahl im Superwahljahr 2009 fast ausschließlich Superlative und neue Rekorde hervor: Die Wahlbeteiligung sank mit 70,1% auf den niedrigsten Stand seit Gründung der Bundesrepublik. FDP (14,6%), Linkspartei (11,9 %) und Grüne (10,7 %) fuhren ihre bisher besten Wahlergebnisse auf Kosten der großen Parteien ein. Die SPD stürzte auf dramatische 23% ab – das schlechteste Wahlergebnis seit Bestehen der Republik. Auch CDU und CSU verloren soviel Vertrauen wie nie zuvor und sanken auf 27,3 % beziehungsweise auf 6,5 %. So konnte sich Angela Merkel nur durch die Stärke der Liberalen in eine schwarz-gelbe Regierung retten und die ungeliebte Koalition mit der SPD beenden. Die Kategorie „Sonstige Parteien“ übersprang mit 6 % die Fünf-Prozent-Hürde. Dafür verantwortlich war die Piratenpartei, die bei ihrer ersten Bundestagswahl in den TV-Analysen am Wahlabend sogar einen eigenen Balken erhielt, weil sie aus dem Stand 2% holte und damit einen neuen Rekord aufstellte. In dieser Arbeit wird mit Hilfe einer qualitativen Studie der dialogorientierte Onlinewahlkampf zur Bundestagswahl 2009 analysiert und bewertet. Der besondere Fokus lag hierbei auf den parteieigenen Communities und der Bewertung verschiedener Faktoren wie z.B. Konzept (Usability, Funktionen etc.), Dialog (Qualität und Quantität) und natürlich Anzahl und Aktivität der User.
