Outer world keeps disturbing our inner. If something bad happens to us we react, we get angry and feel depressed. There is not a single day that we are at peace. Our ego gets wounded very easily. We don’t know in life in which direction we should go. Our life is full of tension and worry. To get out of this tension and worry we watch television, chat with our friends over the mobile, spend time on internet surfing, visit some mall, movie theatre and dine, go on holidays within country or abroad, smoke and drink with friends or alone, engage in sexual activities, attend some party, pray or visit holy places with false self, read some book, keep working for more and more money. Again after some time the tension and worry in some other form surfaces. We repeat the same chorus of act again to get out of this. We get old but the tension and worry are still there. What is the way out of this? People fight with each other on trivial issues in home, office or outside. Every day there is violence in some part of the world. There is terror attack or there is some crime happening. Newspapers are full of these kinds of news. Violence has become an incurable disease. Aim of writing this book is to understand the role of peace in our daily living and thereby making world violence free. This book is full of life discussions which lead you to understand your false self and once the false self is understood, true self automatically flows in. The language of book has been kept simple for better understanding.

Uneasy Citizenship written by Daniel Bennett and has been published by Wipf and Stock Publishers this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2024-05-14 with Political Science categories.
For Christians, it might seem like a confusing time to approach the political world. Polarization and partisanship threaten to divide communities, including the church. At the same time, American politics and government requires participation from its citizens, and Christians are called to be in the world for the sake of God’s kingdom. How, exactly, are Christians to respond faithfully to an increasingly toxic political environment? In Uneasy Citizenship, political scientist Daniel Bennett proposes a way forward for the politically engaged and weary alike. Identifying both challenges and opportunities stemming from the contemporary political environment, Bennett argues for a distinctly Christian political engagement that confounds society’s notions of what effective politics is. He advises Christians to combat the temptation to idolize political outcomes and focus instead on cultivating faithful political practices at the individual, local, and national levels. Faithful political engagement is not easy, especially during times of crisis and upheaval. Uneasy Citizenship shows how Christians can approach politics confidently and hopefully, taking our earthly citizenship seriously with an eye toward our inevitable citizenship in heaven.

Code Generation With Templates written by Jeroen Arnoldus and has been published by Springer Science & Business Media this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2012-05-22 with Computers categories.
Templates are used to generate all kinds of text, including computer code. The last decade, the use of templates gained a lot of popularity due to the increase of dynamic web applications. Templates are a tool for programmers, and implementations of template engines are most times based on practical experience rather than based on a theoretical background. This book reveals the mathematical background of templates and shows interesting findings for improving the practical use of templates. First, a framework to determine the necessary computational power for the template metalanguage is presented. The template metalanguage does not need to be Turing-complete to be useful. A non-Turing-complete metalanguage enforces separation of concerns between the view and model. Second, syntactical correctness of all languages of the templates and generated code is ensured. This includes the syntactical correctness of the template metalanguage and the output language. Third, case studies show that the achieved goals are applicable in practice. It is even shown that syntactical correctness helps to prevent cross-site scripting attacks in web applications. The target audience of this book is twofold. The first group exists of researcher interested in the mathematical background of templates. The second group exists of users of templates. This includes designers of template engines on one side and programmers and web designers using templates on the other side

What will gain the system's attention? "Explores the dynamics of a broad range of policy issues in different countries . . . an important scholarly contribution." — Political Studies Review Before making significant policy decisions, political actors and parties must first craft an agenda designed to place certain issues at the center of political attention. The agenda-setting approach in political science holds that the amount of attention devoted by the various actors within a political system to issues like immigration, health care, and the economy can inform our understanding of its basic patterns and processes. While there has been considerable attention to how political systems process issues in the United States, Christoffer Green-Pedersen and Stefaan Walgrave demonstrate the broader applicability of this approach by extending it to other countries and their political systems. This book brings together essays on eleven countries and two broad themes. Contributors to the first section analyze the extent to which party and electoral changes and shifts in the partisan composition of government have led—or not led—to policy changes in the United States, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Denmark, Switzerland, and France. The second section turns the focus on changing institutional structures in Germany, Italy, Belgium, Spain, and Canada, including the German reunification and the collapse of the Italian party system. Together, the essays make clear the efficacy of the agenda-setting approach for understanding not only how policies evolve, but also how political systems function.
