Eiffel Object Oriented Programming written by A. J. Tyrrell and has been published by Palgrave this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 1995 with Computers categories.

Eiffel is a pure object-oriented programming language which is attracting growing attention both in education and in industry. It is a high-level language, and is particularly suitable as a starting point for those who wish to learn the fundamentals of object orientation. Eiffel is, however, much more than a teaching language: it incorporates an approach to software development based on ideas of reusability, extendibility and reliability. Uniquely among object-oriented languages, it was created with mechanisms for making formal assertions about software components, based on the 'design by contract' philosophy. This book provides an introduction to object orientation and a practical introduction to virtually all the features provided by the Eiffel programming language. It is suitable for those with some experience of programming who wish to learn about object-oriented programming. It will also appeal to those who already have some knowledge of object orientation, and wish to find out about the Eiffel language. After an introductory chapter on object orientation, several of the early chapters review basic concepts required by readers with little formal knowledge of computer programming. From chapter 6 onwards the author examines more difficult issues of object instantiation, copying and comparison, and the use of class libraries for string and array handling.

Programming In C written by Jean Ettinger and has been published by Palgrave this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 1994 with Computers categories.

This book describes and illustrates how to program in C++, assuming that the reader has only a minimum prior knowledge of programming. The language is introduced in the early chapters by adopting a structured, imperative approach; later chapters deal with new concepts, such as classes and templates, which differ from those of many related languages such as C. Thus, although intended to appeal to beginners, the book shuld also be useful to experienced programmers.

C Object Oriented Programming written by Dr R. J. Mitchell and has been published by Palgrave this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 1993 with Computers categories.

This programming guide describes object-oriented techniques, and shows how they can be used in the development of a reasonably larger program which is implemented in C++. Choosing the example of a computer-based drawing package, R.J. Mitchell demonstrates programming techniques in a practical way. Exercises are included that build on the discussion of individual chapters. All the programs are available on diskette. Other books by Mitchell include Microcomputer Systems Using the STE Bus and Modula-2 Applied.

Mathematical Foundations For Computing written by G. P. McKeown and has been published by Palgrave this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 1995 with Computers categories.

This text gives a description of the fundamental mathematical concepts used by computer scientists, while also emphasizing the need for careful justification. It provides proofs of all the major results, and all the algorithms presented are developed carefully and their performance analyzed. Throughout, the aim is to provide a well-balanced treatment of both the discrete and continuous mathematics that should be studied by the serious student of computer science. The book should therefore be most suited to those undergraduate programmes that put the emphasis on such areas as programming language semantics, program correctness, and algorithm analysis and design.

Information Modelling written by Donal James Flynn and has been published by Prentice Hall PTR this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 1996 with Computers categories.

This text presents the basic concepts used for modelling and analyzing information in organizations, within the context of requirements analysis modelling for information systems development. It compares and contrasts four internationally recognised methods: SSADM, MERISE, Information Engineering and MEIN. A standard framework is used to analyze the methods and show how concepts may be used in an integrated way to build a specification. These four structured methods are then compared with the developing object oriented approach to requirements analysis (OOA) and conclusions are drawn as to the usefulness of both types of approach.

Microprogramming is a technique whereby the control of a complex, high speed digital system is turned from being a logical problem into a programming problem. Starting from first principles, the key chips used in microprogrammed systems are described progressively. The reader is thus provided with sufficient detailed information in order to design and build a microprogrammed system. Throughout, the text is fully supported with line drawings and selected illustrations from manufacturers' data books. There are also examples of microcode.
