After demonstrating the harmful effects that algorithmic recommender systems can have, I will build an argument for regulating these systems in order to protect individuals and minority groups from discrimination in social media. In chapter 4, I will address two arguments that act as a foundation against regulating such systems and show that these arguments are not able to present convincing points. In chapter 5, I will bring my argumentation with another pro- regulation argument to an end and finish my paper with a conclusive summary. Hate, misinformation and political manipulation have grown to become a problem of social scale in the online media of our time. This can have a negative impact outside the digital world. Despite the fact that it can only be the user himself who initially introduces hate and agitation into a discussion, the large operators of social media platforms, namely Facebook, Twitter or Google, are also to be held responsible for the fact that hate can spread on their platforms as quickly as it was not possible in classic media before. Their business model aims to keep users on the platform for a long period of time in order to sell their advertising space as profitably as possible. For this purpose, most of these platform companies use algorithmic recommender systems to push content or products (like YouTube's "Next Videos" or Facebook's "Recommended Groups") which are considered relevant for the user. Although the platforms, if we follow their argumentation, want to make the user experience with these systems as positive as possible, the practice of providing the user with information that reflects his or her interests leads to the fact that if the user deals with already critical topics these also appear repeatedly in their timeline. This sometimes leads to users being encouraged in their opinion and creates network effects through which users encounter other users with the same opinion or inform themselves about similar topics. In addition to that, personalised advertising whose business model is also based on the same critical algorithmic recommender systems, can cause particular harm in a political context.

The era of big data and world-spanning social networks has highlighted the necessity of ways to make sense of this vast amount of information. Data can be arranged in a graph of connected vertices, therefore giving it a basic structure. If the vertices are further described by keywords, the structure is called an attributed graph. This paper discusses a query algorithm that scans these attributed graphs for communities that are not only structurally linked - therefore forming subgraphs - but also share the same keywords. This method might give new insights into the composition of large networks, highlight interesting connections and give opportunities for effectively targeted marketing. As a specific use case, the idea of the attributed community query is applied to the example of a film recommendation program.

The construction, design, and programming of robots are all included in the broad idea of robotics. These robots interact directly with the actual world, and they are frequently used in place of people to carry out repetitive and boring jobs. Robots can be grouped according to their size, field of use, or objective. Robotics is only one aspect of automation. It indicates that a procedure is carried out entirely or in part without the need for human intervention. Instead, only electrical or mechanical devices and pre-programmed or adaptable computer programs are used to run the process. The term "predefined applications" refers to algorithms, where every operation is predetermined and carried out autonomously, irrespective of any unanticipated environmental changes. The ability of the algorithm to modify its behavior in response to modifications in the environment or process is known as adaptive automation. Since robots are typically a component of automated systems, robotics and automation go hand in hand. Even if automation can exist without robots and robots can be utilized with little to no automation in some situations, the two are like identical twins, each with their own unique personality.

A lot of research is already focused on detecting it. Here we take three data sets namely ” fake news and real news”, ”ISOT” and ”LIAR”. We try to implement six machine learning models on these data sets and trying to find their accu- racy and precision. The models we uses are Decision Tree, Random Forest, Support vector machine, Naive Bayes, KNN and LSTM. WE use tools like python scikit learn and NLP. Python scikit library can be used for feature extraction and textual analysis. We tries to find out which model works best on which data keeping the complexity of the data in mind. We would like to find a perfect model for any of the regional language. But the constrain is the availability of good dataset . So we try to propose a new dataset.
