Trotz der Anprangerung in Nurnberg fielen die Entschadigungsanspruche einer dem Wiederaufbau Deutschlands verpflichteten Politik, Verdrangung und Leugnung zum Opfer. Nach jahrzehntelanger Weigerung zur Anerkennung rechtlicher Verantwortung fur den Zwangsarbeitereinsatz kam es 1999/2000 zur Stiftungsgrundung fur die begrenzte Entschadigung der noch lebenden Opfer oder ihrer Angehorigen. Die Autoren behandeln die Formen des Arbeitseinsatzes, die Nachkriegsvolkerrechtspraxis und -gesetzgebung, die Klagen vor deutschen und U.S-Gerichten und die Stiftungsgrundung und Entschadigungspraxis seit August 2000.Der Herausgeber ist wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter am Institut fur Wirtschaftsrecht der Johann Wolfgang Goethe-Universitat in Frankurt am Main.
