This book conducts research on the overall design of the submerged floating tunnel, structural safety standards, environmental load calculation methods, pipe structure selection, joint structure form, anchoring mode, collision avoidance technology, operation ventilation and disaster prevention, etc., and proposes a preliminary engineering technical plan for the submerged floating tunnel in Qiongzhou Strait. It focuses on the domestic and foreign research status of submerged floating tunnels, model experiment theory and method, experimental system, model design, experimental process, experimental results analysis, and other unique achievements and thoughts. This book is suitable for tunnel engineering scientists, tunnel engineering designers, civil engineers, traffic planning designers, civil engineering students, and teachers. Because submerged floating tunnel is a kind of tunnel structure full of innovation and challenge, research results on suspended tunnels are relatively rare. This book includes the design scheme of submerged floating tunnel, model experiment theory, experimental system, analysis of experimental results, etc., which can provide ideas for the current design of submerged floating tunnel, and also provides useful reference for scholars engaged in the research of basic theory and key technology of submerged floating tunnel and related fields.

Cosmic Humanism And World Unity written by Oliver L. Reiser and has been published by Taylor & Francis this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2023-10-13 with Philosophy categories.

First published in 1975 Cosmic Humanism and World Unity presents a comprehensive overview of the world view, a theory of knowledge, a cosmology and a possible universal religion termed as cosmic humanism. It aims to discover and formulate some of the main principles that may help mankind integrate the world ethically, aesthetically, and spiritually, as science and technology have integrated the planet in its physical relationships. It discusses themes like mental pattern for the planet; language and world order; grand strategy of evolution; Helium Psychosphere; cosmic humanism and the "space age"; and existentialist cosmology and harmony. This is an interesting read for scholars and researchers of philosophy.

Nanotube Superfiber Materials written by Mark Schulz and has been published by William Andrew this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2013-09-16 with Technology & Engineering categories.

Nanotube Superfiber Materials refers to different forms of macroscale materials with unique properties constructed from carbon nanotubes. These materials include nanotube arrays, ribbons, scrolls, yarn, braid, and sheets. Nanotube materials are in the early stage of development and this is the first dedicated book on the subject. Transitioning from molecules to materials is a breakthrough that will positively impact almost all industries and areas of society. Key properties of superfiber materials are high flexibility and fatigue resistance, high energy absorption, high strength, good electrical conductivity, high maximum current density, reduced skin and proximity effects, high thermal conductivity, lightweight, good field emission, piezoresistive, magnetoresistive, thermoelectric, and other properties. These properties will open up the door to dozens of applications including replacing copper wire for power conduction, EMI shielding, coax cable, carbon biofiber, bullet-proof vests, impact resistant glass, wearable antennas, biomedical microdevices, biosensors, self-sensing composites, supercapacitors, superinductors, hybrid superconductor, reinforced elastomers, nerve scaffolding, energy storage, and many others. The scope of the book covers three main areas: Part I: Processing; Part II: Properties; and Part III: Applications. Processing involves nanotube synthesis and macro scale material formation methods. Properties covers the mechanical, electrical, chemical and other properties of nanotubes and macroscale materials. Different approaches to growing high quality long nanotubes and spinning the nanotubes into yarn are explained in detail. The best ideas are collected from all around the world including commercial approaches. Applications of nanotube superfiber cover a huge field and provides a broad survey of uses. The book gives a broad overview starting from bioelectronics to carbon industrial machines. - First book to explore the production and applications of macro-scale materials made from nano-scale particles - Sets out the processes for producing macro-scale materials from carbon nanotubes, and describes the unique properties of these materials - Potential applications for CNT fiber/yarn include replacing copper wire for power conduction, EMI shielding, coax cable, carbon biofiber, bullet-proof vests, impact resistant glass, wearable antennas, biomedical microdevices, biosensors, self-sensing composites, supercapacitors, superinductors, hybrid superconductor, reinforced elastomers, nerve scaffolding, energy storage, and many others

Verification Of The P Laplace S Hypothesis On The Transformation Of Gravitational Forces In Molecular written by Аркадий Серков and has been published by ЛитРес this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2022-05-17 with Study Aids categories.

This book was first published in Russian in 2014. The main idea of the book was to try to prove that the basis of all physical and chemical processes is mass, or rather the interaction of masses of elementary particles, and not mythical electric charges. It can say that a significant part of the author's life was devoted to this. All this time, the author was inspired by the idea (hypothesis) of PS Laplace that the forces acting between the molecules of matter are transformed, modified gravitational forces. To prove the hypothesis put forward, Laplace carried out calculations in which he showed that in the transition from gravitational forces to molecular forces, the density of matter in elementary particles increases 10^10 times. Such a significant increase in the density of matter leads to an increase in the intensity of gravitational forces, their transformation into molecular ones.

Book “Hypotheses-3: Genesis and Evolution of Atoms and Cosmic Bodies”. is the final one in the series “Hypotheses. Serkov AT ". The first book in this series was published in 1998. This book examines the formation of chemical elements, their evolution and decay. The initial product is hydrogen (protons), which is formed by condensation of sub-elementary particles and during nuclear reactions by the mechanism of the formation of «secondary drops» when a «drop» of nuclear liquid hits the surface of the liquid nucleus of an atom (crown splash effect). An increase in the mass of atoms occurs as a result of the orbital capture of atoms of light elements, their subsequent deceleration and fall on the nucleus, as a result of which the frequency of rotation of nuclei increases, leading to periodic disruption of dynamic boundary layers and, accordingly, to a periodic change in the properties of chemical elements. An increase in the speed of rotation of stars with an increase in their mass indicates the occurrence of similar processes in space and the main sequence in the Hertzsprung-Russell diagram reflects the process of an increase in the mass of stars due to orbital captures of red and brown dwarfs. Periodic changes in the properties of exoplanetary systems are predicted depending on the mass of stars, in particular, their sizes.

This book is dedicated to the interaction of electromagnetic wave radiation in matter, such as the wave propagation in a plasmonic and conductive state, that are dispersive media. The different measurement methods of electrical properties of soils have been studied using several applications. The experimental results of the thermoelectric properties of a chalcogenide system and the electrical conductivity of molten salts and ionic conduction in electrolyte solutions are discussed. The application of an electric field impulse and its influence on the immune responses of animals by increasing different elements of the immune response is discussed. The electromagnetic radiation transmission through skin samples of pigs of different ages have been measured in order to understand the process of absorption and conversion. The methods and results are covered in the book.
