New Trends In Computational Collective Intelligence written by David Camacho and has been published by Springer this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2014-09-10 with Technology & Engineering categories.
This book consists of 20 chapters in which the authors deal with different theoretical and practical aspects of new trends in Collective Computational Intelligence techniques. Computational Collective Intelligence methods and algorithms are one the current trending research topics from areas related to Artificial Intelligence, Soft Computing or Data Mining among others. Computational Collective Intelligence is a rapidly growing field that is most often understood as an AI sub-field dealing with soft computing methods which enable making group decisions and processing knowledge among autonomous units acting in distributed environments. Web-based Systems, Social Networks, and Multi-Agent Systems very often need these tools for working out consistent knowledge states, resolving conflicts and making decisions. The chapters included in this volume cover a selection of topics and new trends in several domains related to Collective Computational Intelligence: Language and Knowledge Processing, Data Mining Methods and Applications, Computer Vision, and Intelligent Computational Methods. This book will be useful for graduate and PhD students in computer science as well as for mature academics, researchers and practitioners interested in the methods and applications of collective computational intelligence in order to create new intelligent systems.

Modern Approaches For Intelligent Information And Database Systems written by Andrzej Sieminski and has been published by Springer this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2018-02-23 with Technology & Engineering categories.
This book offers a unique blend of reports on both theoretical models and their applications in the area of Intelligent Information and Database Systems. The reports cover a broad range of research topics, including advanced learning techniques, knowledge engineering, Natural Language Processing (NLP), decision support systems, Internet of things (IoT), computer vision, and tools and techniques for Intelligent Information Systems. They are extended versions of papers presented at the ACIIDS 2018 conference (10th Asian Conference on Intelligent Information and Database Systems), which was held in Dong Hoi City, Vietnam on 19–21 March 2018. What all researchers and students of computer science need is a state-of-the-art report on the latest trends in their respective areas of interest. Over the years, researchers have proposed increasingly complex theoretical models, which provide the theoretical basis for numerous applications. The applications, in turn, have a profound influence on virtually every aspect of human activities, while also allowing us to validate the underlying theoretical concepts.

Applications Of Learning Classifier Systems written by Larry Bull and has been published by Springer this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2012-08-13 with Computers categories.
The field called Learning Classifier Systems is populated with romantics. Why shouldn't it be possible for computer programs to adapt, learn, and develop while interacting with their environments? In particular, why not systems that, like organic populations, contain competing, perhaps cooperating, entities evolving together? John Holland was one of the earliest scientists with this vision, at a time when so-called artificial intelligence was in its infancy and mainly concerned with preprogrammed systems that didn't learn. that, like organisms, had sensors, took Instead, Holland envisaged systems actions, and had rich self-generated internal structure and processing. In so doing he foresaw and his work prefigured such present day domains as reinforcement learning and embedded agents that are now displacing the older "standard Af' . One focus was what Holland called "classifier systems": sets of competing rule like "classifiers", each a hypothesis as to how best to react to some aspect of the environment--or to another rule. The system embracing such a rule "popu lation" would explore its available actions and responses, rewarding and rating the active rules accordingly. Then "good" classifiers would be selected and re produced, mutated and even crossed, a la Darwin and genetics, steadily and reliably increasing the system's ability to cope.

Collective knowledge and the associated concepts of collectively learning, remembering and inventing are increasingly important in today’s economy and society. Completing knowledge work alone is more and more difficult for individuals. Based on novel data sets which identify founders as inventors on patents and survey data collected from senior management, the author investigates questions about knowledge processing. What determines whether dispersed specialist knowledge can be located and used to complete tasks or to create new knowledge? How are social interactions organized and to what extent do individuals such as founders influence the course of action taken by the system as a whole?
