Was als Online-Tagebuch angefangen hat, ist heute ein Handelsunternehmen, welches etwa 160 Mitarbeiter an vier Standorten in Münster beschäftigt. Der Grundstein für die Entwicklung zum Online-Shop wurde im Jahr 2015 gelegt, als Joana Heinen und ihr heutiger Mann und Co-Gründer Niklas Heinen den Versuch wagten, die ersten Schreibtischunterlagen und Notizbücher auf dem Blog zu verkaufen. Mittlerweile besteht das Sortiment aus über 450 Produkten und konnte auf die Bereiche Schreibwaren, Organisation und Wohnaccessoires erweitert werden. Die Produkte zeichnen sich durch ein verspieltes und feminines Design, den Fokus auf Pastellfarben und markante Sprüche aus. Die Besonderheit und somit der Erfolg des Unternehmens erschließen sich in der Online-Community, die bereits vor dem Online-Shop präsent war und parallel dazu stetig gewachsen ist sowie aktiv in Unternehmensentscheidungen einbezogen wird. Soziale Medien stellen einen virtuellen Ort dar, an dem Menschen orts- und zeitunabhängig miteinander interagieren können. Unternehmen können von diesem Austausch profitieren und Social Media als Werbeträger nutzen, um die Distanz zu den Kunden zu verringern, sie passgenau anzusprechen und ein positives Markenimage aufzubauen.
