Hal ini diperkuat oleh keterangan salah seorang pekriya, yang menyatakan bahwa di Indramayu terdapat keturunan etnis Jawa Tengah. Bagaimana peranan perempuan Indramayu dalam membangkitkan Batik Dermayon? Dari mana asal muasal budaya pesisiran Indramayu?
