Holocaust Denial written by John C. Zimmerman and has been published by University Press of America this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2000-11-08 with History categories.
Zimmerman's work is the only book that comprehensively examines the underlying arguments of Holocaust denial. He goes into great depth on the actual arguments that deniers use. Holocaust Denial examines their methodology, use of sources and reasoning process. Historians have been very reluctant to examine denier arguments because they do not want to draw attention to them. But this movement is gaining ground in Europe and Canada, and will only become stronger as the World War II generation passes away. This book will debunk all of the denier arguments. Zimmerman will finally provide the reader who is interested in the actual arguments of denial a means to evaluate their legitimacy. The true value of this book will be realized when the last of that generation is gone. This book is of value to historians and Holocaust scholars, as well as anyone interested in the Holocaust and the denial movement.

A catalogue of an exhibition of works by three Polish Holocaust survivors, born in Kraków - Artur Nacht-Samborski (1898-1974), Erna Rosenstein (1913-2004), and Jonasz Stern (1904-1988) - held between November 2012-April 2013 at the site of Oskar Schindler's enamelware factory, now part of the Muzeum Historyczne Miasta Krakowa. Presents their biographies, dwelling on their survival under the German occupation. All three left Kraków for Lwów in September 1939, only to be caught by the German conquest of the city in 1941. Stern was interned in the Lvov ghetto; during its liquidation in June 1943 he managed to escape from a death pit and reached Hungary, where he survived. Both Rosenstein and Nacht-Samborski were provided with "Aryan" papers and managed to survive in Warsaw. Pp. 121-138 deal with the Poles who helped Jews during the Holocaust, dwelling on those who took part in the rescue of Stern, Rosenstein, and Nacht-Samborski.
