AI for Arts is a book for anyone fascinated by the man–machine connection, an unstoppable evolution that is intertwining us with technology in an ever-greater degree, and where there is an increasing concern that it will be technology that comes out on top. Thus, presented here through perhaps its most esoteric form, namely art, this unfolding conundrum is brought to its apex. What is left of us humans if artificial intelligence also surpasses us when it comes to art? The articulation of an artificial intelligence art manifesto is long overdue, so hopefully this book can fill a gap that will have repercussions not only for aesthetic and philosophical considerations but possibly more so for the development of artificial intelligence.

Artists always react to the times in which they live. They may celebrate them or criticize them, often trying to change them. But this is the first time in history that technology controlled by private companies is offering to replace the work of writers, musicians, illustrators and visual artists. What impact will generative AI have on how we create art and how we understand what art is for? How will it affect the role of the artist in the future and the conditions under which artists will work? Jan Svenungsson tackles these questions, investigating what AI might do for art, and what it might change, circling the core issue of what it is in human art-making that cannot be replaced.

The Soft Side Of Ai written by Kathleen Hargiss and has been published by this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2025-08-04 with Art categories.
The Soft Side of AI: Where Technology & Art Converge by Kathleen M. Hargiss explores how artificial intelligence interacts with art and poetry, focusing on AI's role in analyzing and commenting on these creative works. Drawing on Hargiss's technological expertise, the book examines AI's ability to provide insights into visual art and poetry, offering a new lens on human creativity.Hargiss likely showcases AI systems that evaluate artworks, such as paintings in styles like abstract expressionism, providing feedback on composition, color, or emotional impact. Similarly, AI might analyze poetry, commenting on structure, rhyme, or thematic depth in pieces like haikus or sonnets. These examples highlight AI's potential to enhance creative processes by offering objective critiques, making it a valuable tool for artists and poets seeking to refine their work. The "soft side" refers to AI's capacity to engage with the emotional and aesthetic qualities of art and poetry, challenging the notion that machines lack sensitivity. Hargiss may explore whether AI's commentary can rival human critiques in depth or insight, raising questions about the nature of artistic interpretation. Ethical considerations could include the balance between human intuition and AI's analytical precision, or concerns about over-reliance on machine feedback in creative fields.Aimed at artists, poets, and tech enthusiasts, the book likely blends accessible technical explanations with case studies, such as AI offering feedback on a surrealist painting or a poet's lyrical work. Hargiss probably argues that AI serves as a collaborative tool, enhancing human creativity by providing fresh perspectives rather than replacing the artist's voice. The narrative may emphasize how AI's commentary makes art and poetry more accessible, supporting diverse creators.

The advent of Artificial Intelligence (AI) as an “autonomous author” urges the law to rethink authorship, originality, creativity. AI-generated artworks are in search of an author because current copyright laws offer as a solution only public domain or fragile regulatory mechanisms. During the 20th century visual artists have been posing persistent challenges to the law world: Conceptual Art favoured legal mechanisms alternative to copyright law. The case of AI-art is, however, different: for the first time the artworld is discovering the prospective of an art without human authors. Rather than preserving the status quo in the law world, policy makers should consider a reformative conception of AI in copyright law and take inspiration from innovative theories in the field of robot law, where new frames for a legal personhood of artificial agents are proposed. This would have a spill-over effect also on copyright regulations.
