Außerdem enthält sie einen umfangreichen Besprechungsteil.Das Literaturwissenschaftliche Jahrbuch ist auf keine Methode festgelegt. Die Herausgeber streben an, auch Beiträge junger Nachwuchswissenschaftler aufzunehmen. Zu den Besonderheiten gehört darüber hinaus, bislang unveröffentlichte literarische Texte zu publizieren.
