FH Koblenz), Veranstaltung: Modul 1: Geschichte der sozialen Arbeit, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Alice Salomon gilt als Begründerin sozialer Berufsarbeit in Deutschland. In ihrem Leben bildete sie drei Interessenschwerpunkte heraus, die ihr von Bedeutung waren: „die praktische soziale Arbeit, die Frauenbewegung und der internationale Vergleich.“1 Die folgende Arbeit wird das Lebenswerk Alice Salomons anhand dieser drei Schwerpunkte darstellen. Der biografische Teil beschreibt den Lebensweg einer jungen Frau aus dem Bürgertum, die sich nicht nur zu einer Pionierin der sozialen Arbeit in Deutschland, sondern auch zu einer wichtigen Protagonistin der nationalen und internationalen Frauenbewegung entwickelt. Daran anschließend werden die Theorien Alice Salomons unter dem Blickpunkt der genannten Aspekte beleuchtet, um im letzten Teil der Arbeit die Frage zu beantworten, welche Bedeutung Alice Salomons Lebenswerk für die heutige soziale Arbeit hat.

Die ERASMUS-Evaluations-Konferenz bildete zugleich den Abschluss und den Höhepunkt einer intensiven Phase der Evaluation der ERASMUS-Programme für die sozialen Professionen. Die Konferenz bot ein breites Forum, um sich zum einen über den aktuellen Stand der europäischen Zusammenarbeit in den sozialen Professionen zu informieren und sich zum anderen anhand verschiedener Beiträge renommierter Persönlichkeiten aus dem Berufsfeld mit der Weiterentwicklung einer europäischen Perspektive für die Ausbildungen auseinanderzusetzen. Dabei dokumentieren die einzelnen Vorträge und Workshop-Beiträge, dass die Konferenz in Koblenz nicht nur retrospektiv die Ergebnisse der ersten und nun abgeschlossenen Phase der ERASMUS-Programme präsentiert hat, sondern dass alle Beteiligten den wesentlichen Schwerpunkt auf die Frage der Fortführung der Kooperationen in der Zukunft gelegt haben. Besonders die Diskussionen in den Arbeitsgruppen verdeutlichen, daß die Weiterentwicklung einer europäischen und internationalen Perspektive für die sozialen Professionen in Europa über alle Grenzen hinweg ein vorrangiges Ziel der Kontakte bleiben muß und bleiben wird.
