In a new account of the relationship between Margaret Fuller and Ralph Waldo Emerson, Christina Zwarg recreates a feminist conversation that has gone unheard. In Zwarg's view, the intimate, yet restrained, letters between the two writers are most significant in confronting the challenges posed by gender and desire. Focusing on their exploration of Charles Fourier's utopianism and particularly his concept of "passionate attraction," Zwarg offers the only detailed reading of Emerson's letters to Fuller.

This book is an essential resource for anyone looking to understand the cutting-edge applications and evolving technologies of Unmanned Aerial Systems, showcasing how they enhance safety and efficiency in monitoring, emergency response, and smart city development. With the evolution of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS), its applications can be observed in the fields of monitoring for fire detection, sustainable computing, emergencies, and law enforcement. They can be useful for monitoring or screening applications, as well as the deployment of smart cities, security monitoring, and communication establishments at rare locations or unapproachable locations. Thus, the wireless ad-hoc networks of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) and infrastructure-based UAVs can be utilized in this proposal. Unmanned Aircraft Systems contains novel contributions and emerging trends in the area of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV), drones, and aircraft without a human pilot aboard. It has three segments incorporating technological advancements and future trends in UAS, the policies and security aspects of UAVs, and their applications as an intelligent system. Along with these state-of-the-art techniques, this book also incorporates advances in AI and machine learning, deep learning, IoT technology, cybersecurity and Blockchain, UAV regulation policies in the United States and Europe, SOTA in ITS, and many more technological advancements, which makes this book the pioneer and benchmarking reference in these areas.

Explores the effect that capitalist ambition has on our psyches and societies, and what a world without ambition might look like. Against Ambition examines the psychological and societal impact of capitalist ambition and imagines a world liberated from its pressures. Critical Exploration of Ambition: Analyses how ambition became the dominant force shaping our lives since the 1980s, pushing us to view success as solely our responsibility—and failure as our fault. The Cult of Capitalist Success: Bill Peel critiques how capitalism turned ambition into an endless cycle of "rise and grind," passive income pursuits, and corporate competition, pushing us into self-sacrificing, goal-oriented lives. A Call to Reimagine Life Beyond Ambition: Argues that relentless ambition undermines collective action and turns individuals into isolated social climbers, hindering efforts to create a more equitable world. Radical Freedom in Letting Go: Advocates for a life freed from constant self-improvement, valuing the right to "waste time" as a radical act against neoliberal values. For readers interested in social criticism, capitalism’s influence on personal identity, or alternative views on productivity and success, Against Ambition offers a powerful challenge to the “cult of ambition.”

Poetry Of Spiritual Awakening written by Hilton L. Anderson and has been published by iUniverse this book supported file pdf, txt, epub, kindle and other format this book has been release on 2011-10-18 with Poetry categories.
Poetry of Spiritual Awakening presents a collection of poetry arranged in three groupings designed to indicate levels of conscious awareness experienced by author Hilton L. Anderson. Waking up spiritually is an individual process; even so, there are common themes experienced by many people that may help others in their own spiritual journey. In general terms, the separate ego state is focused primarily on the external reality while the spiritual is more focused on internal consciousness. Perhaps another way of explaining this spiritual awakening is recognizing the shift from the rational mind to heart consciousness. The way in which the poems of this collection are arranged is an attempt to make this shift obvious. Through the practice of forgiveness and the awareness of love, the separate self of the ego begins to lose its hold, allowing the awareness of the larger self to become the focus of attention. This awareness heals the separation of self from others and the Divine. Ultimately the awareness of the unitary nature of existence becomes known. The fear of death and its resolution are prominent concerns of many of the poems. The need to face the reality of death and understand it in a meaningful way is one of the basic learning explored by the poetry.
